Sorry for not writing for so long.
Ever since i started work at IIS, i rarely write anymore.
So many things happened lately. Especially my miscarriage.
Yeah, after 8 years, got pregnant but then miscarriage.
Belum ada rezeki lagi. Insya Allah, ada laa tuh nanti.
But it was a GOOD 8 weeks being pregnant again.
Will try again soon. Danial needs someone to play with.
Even though he was reluctant at first. Dah spoilt sangat jadi anak tunggal!
Will be back with more stories. I promise.

Goodbye
I'm leaving Nobel soon. 9 days to be exact minus the weekends. How time flies. I've been working in Nobel for the last 6 and 1/2 years. It has been a great place to work and i have made my own 'families' there. From being a normal teacher and now a HOD, it was not an easy journey. When we started Nobel (i was one of the pioneers), i have the most workloads teaching the kids BM. My frens made fun out of it since they said my BM tunggang-langgang! Hahahahaha. Siapa kata ajar BM senang, belum try belum tau ok!
Then i was given the task to teach Kajian Tempatan. I love history! Now, i can teach them the History of Kesultanan Melayu Melaka sampailah Tanah Melayu mencapai kemerdekaan without referring to the text. The kids said they enjoyed my lesson sebab i am just like a penglipur lara. I told them stories that is beyond the contents in the text. Especially the boys love to hear stories about zaman penjajahan Jepun, tentang Komunis, about James Brooke and his family yang memerintah Sarawak selama 100 tahun, etc. I am just amazed to hear their comments about me being their KT teacher...
I also taught PE. And Netball. My passion is more towards Netball. I have seen my ex-students who have excelled playing the game. And they still try to make an effort to visit Nobel and played with me. One student said, when i leave Nobel, there will no teacher who is passionate as i am when it comes to Netball. I just laughed at the statement. Not true. There are others who love the game. It's just that time is very limited to be constantly involved with it.
Last Friday, i had my last meeting with my department discussing about Merdeka and Hari Raya project. I only had the meeting twice this year. LOL! My department has the most teachers and some of them are also teaching other subjects. It is sometimes impossible to meet them on Fridays because of other departments meeting. Kena berebut kadang-kala nak jumpa mereka. Agenda pun tak banyak, tuh yg meeting baru 2 kali. And i wrapped up the meeting by apologising to them if i was harsh or cruel to them for the last few years when i was their HOD. Lidah saya kan tajam, takut ada yang terguris pulak!
I know that it is not easy to say goodbye to a place that has been my second home for the last 6 1/2 years. I have a godmother, sisters, brothers which i called my happy family in Nobel. It was not a smooth ride at first, but somehow i managed to get over it. Orang kata, we forgive but we don't forget. Yes, i learnt my lesson from it. My boss said i have grown a lot from being a sensitive person to someone that is matured enough to think about right and wrong. That's how i run my department. If you are wrong, surely will kena from me walaupun awak tu kawan baik saya. Kalau bagus, i will praised you. Tidak ada selindung atau kipas-kipas. Kipas mengipas does not exist in my world (sebab i also didn't know how to do it, tak reti nak cakap putar-belit. Direct to the point lagi senang!). You want to be a successful person, you work hard for it. You might not be acknowledged sometimes, but deep down inside you knew that u have made a difference to the students. Kerja biar ikhlas, i believe in that. And tolerate each other. Manusia tidak dilahirkan sempurna. Kalau ada kekurangan, maafkan aje.
If my teachers are reading this piece, i wanna tell them all of you have done a great job. We are a strong team because we helped one another. No one is taken for granted because everyone is important in the department. You have made a difference in the child's learning process, be it core or non-core subjects. Good job teachers and i will surely miss all of you. Especially to my staffroom teachers. A place we had fun the whole day: cracking jokes, listening to music, karaoke sometimes (that'll be my bff Cherlyn singing to release some tensions) and makan-makan. That is the place i called home. And i am gonna leave my second home to start a new journey after Raya break. Insya Allah.
Where i am going and what i will do is gonna continue in my next piece. Later peeps!

Happy Birthday Danial 'Ammar
You were born seven years ago at Damai Hospital through an induced process. Dr Asma encouraged me to have you earlier since the placenta has shown white spots. Dr said the placenta has matured and whatever i ate will not be passed to you anymore. So, i was in pain for almost 24 hours before you were born at the sunrise on 26 June 2004.
I am proud of what you have achieved so far. Yes you do drive me nuts when it comes to completing your homework or doing revisions for exams. You make me scream when you gave excuses not to take your bath. But, i miss those nonsense behaviours when you are away at atuk's place for holidays.
Do keep in mind that i am a very garang mom to you but deep down inside i love you loads and loads! Money can never buy love and happiness. You are the love of my life (besides dad!) and i will always guard and protect you from anything that will harm you physically or emotionally.
Hey dude! Happy 7th birthday. May Allah will always protect you dari segala kejahatan dan kemungkaran. Semoga membesar menjadi anak yang soleh dan mendengar kata.

Gadget
I love my Ipad. It fits my not so expensive mutipurpose bag. It keeps my son busy while i'm driving back to Melaka or anywhere here and there. It connects me with my sisters, cousins, friends around the world. Since I only used it for playing games especially Angry Birds, i find that Ipad is very useful for an amateur like me. Be it for blogging or photo editing.
Ala, aku berblog pun bukannya nak buat niaga. Setakat meluahkan apa yang terbuku di hati. Macam entry arini. Ada terbaca blog rakan yang mengatakan dia tak beli Ipad sebab Ipad tak muat handbag. Well, if you have a small handbag, obviously it does not fit. Did u know that Crumpler has special bags for Ipad? And the colors are awesome. Yeah, pernah berangan nak beli bag itu khas untuk Ipad ku ini but cancel sebab the current Crumpler can fit my Ipad.
Ipad mudah pecah kalau jatuh? Kalau tak jaga memang laa pecah atau rosak. Mana-mana gadget pun kalau tak dijaga memang akan rosak atau hancur. Well, i am very particular with my gadgets. Tanya saja my sisters. Mulut ini akan membebel bila Danial mula main di tempat yang tak stabil atau jarinya berminyak.
In other words, when you want to buy a gadget, look at the requirements or it's specifications. Look also at your budget. Don't simply say stuff. Don't simply say that Ipad are for amateurs. Don't say that Ipad mudah pecah atau tak muat handbag yang mahal dan branded compared to Crumpler aku yang boleh muat segala mak nenek benda tuh.
Saya sayang Ipad saya sebab ini hadiah dari suami. It was unthinkable that he would get it for me. Yes, i appreciate it a lot because it costs a lot. Bukan senang hendak keluar duit beribu untuk membelinya. Leih terasa kegunaannya dari beil handbag.
Yer, aku emo untuk entry hari ini.

Cuti sekolah kali ini
Cuti sekolah dah masuk minggu kedua. Last week, 28hb Mei kami sekeluarga terbang ke Langkawi sekali lagi. Last year pegi masa bulan Mac. Hubby kata lepas ni kalau nak datang lagi, tunggu 2,3 tahun lagi. Bukan apa, pi mai pi mai tang tu gak pulau tuh. Dah abis pusing.
Kali ni kami tak pi island hopping pun. Pi tempat yang lom pernah pi macam Laman Padi, Telaga Tujuh and Buffalo Park. We stayed at The Cabin di pantai Cenang. Awesome place with good rates. RM150 aje semalam. Nama aje dok kabin, tapi interior semua IKEA. TV pun flat screen, siap ngan channel Astro. Walking distance to tempat makan, pantai, nite market, etc.
Kami book keta MyVi untuk 4 hari di sana. Letak half tank pun tak abis. jalan-jalan pi kedai femes Haji Ismail konon nak rembat Tefal atau Pyrex. But encik suami kata, carik jer laa kat KL nanti. At last, borong cokelat bebanyak. And cigars too. Cheap yo!
Kali ni, masa nak balik we add extra kilos for our luggage. True enuff, our weight was 34.5kg. At first ambil 20kg aje. Bila pikir balik, mesti tak cukup. Betul pun. Nasib baik beli online. Kalau beli di kaunter, 15kg is for RM45. I bought 20kg untuk RM30 aje. So, we had 40kg masa balik which is more than enuff.
Kali ini juga, we experienced self checkin kat kiosk AA. Quite an experience sebab first time cuba and buat. Nasib baik kat handphone ada print screen booking no. Naya jugak kalau tak simpan.
I have 4 more days til school open balik. Ammar di Melaka, jadi saya tiada kawan bergaduh. Apa nak buat ek?

Mid Year Exam
Danial started his mid year exam last week. As a mom and a teacher, saya sangat tension dan stress bila dia nak exam. He is so relaxed and could not be bother to study at all. Is this normal? Alhamdulillah, dia memang takde masalah with his studies. Cuma, kadang-kadang ada big capital M untuk buat revision.
Sometimes we fought every single nite just to make him sit at the table and do some revisions. Bukan tak boleh buat, malas je lebih. Lebih rela mengeluarkan airmata dari duduk bukak buku! Atau sanggup duduk berjam-jam mengadap game dari bukak buku. Boys!!!!
School holidays are just around the corner. Yeay, Langkawi here we come!
I need the break badly.....:(

Gula-gula White Rabbit
Pernah makan gula-gula ni? Few weeks ago, i bought a packet from a jajan shop at Taman Melawati. Last week, brought it to work to share with my colleagues. Little that i now that this candy has been banned in some countries due to the ingredients (in the plastic wrapper that we always eat it together) is very Harmful to human. It contains a chemical that is 6 times more than it is permitted to be used in the candy.
Itu pun my colleague yg pregnant nampak dan dia kata jangan makan! Terus goggle pasal candy ni. Betul laa, but how come masih diimport? Tak ke membahayakan kesihatan orang ramai?
I have eaten 1/4 of the whole thing. Hehehehehe....nasib baik bawak pi tpt keja. Kalau tak confirm dah habis sebungkus!

Handbags
Sekarang ni selalu blogwalking tgk website orang jual handbag online. Even though i am just a teacher, ada gak berkeinginan nak pakai beg berjenama.
I love bags. Nama pun perempuan. I have a friend yg ada beberapa handbags yang berjenama mahal, harga boleh mencecah duit sekolah Danial untuk satu penggal! Envy her? No but i am curious why some women would love to spend a lot for just a handbag. I mean, dengan wang hampir mencecah RM5k, boleh beli Ipad2 16gb wifi 3 bijik ooooo....
Oh yes, i am a gadget freak. Tuh sebab i got an Ipad for my birthday this year. Hubby aritu pecah lobang, memula dia nak belikan handbag Coach tapi tukar ker Ipad. Wise decision!
Being a teacher, i don't need an extravaganza da boom handbag. Nowadays, a knapsack is my good friend. An a black sling bag from Harrods. Jadik le. Kalau keluar dengan si kecik, harus bawak my greenie Crumpler sebab leh sumbat banyak barang. Bag yang paling branded dalam tangan adalah satu wristlet Coach yang dikirim oleh seorang sahabat ke US tahun lepas. Murah sungguh!
Bagi saya, handbag adalah satu keperluan untuk majlis orang kawen atau masa Hari Raya. Itu jek kegunaannya. Nak bergaya bagainya, i tak reti. Sempoi jek!

Earth Hour 2011
This is my 3rd Earth Hour celebration. It's kinda my baby project in Nobel. We try to teach the kids about what is Earth Hour is all about. Not only for an hour, there are also other ways to save the Earth.
We went to Sunway Pyramid tonight since Danial complained KLCC is not a happening place to celebrate EH. True enough, lots of activities took place tonight. But...during EH, the shops are brightly lit except for few. Kuddos to those who support EH esp Bubba Gump. They switched off all the main lights.
Some couldn't be bothered. Some say it's just a gimmick. Well, it's up to the individual themselves. We need to save the Earth. Everyday, not only an hour in a year.
I support Earth Hour. Nuff said.

Day 1: Singapore trip 2010
It's Christmas Day today. We left Kg Pasir, Tampoi approx. at 8.30am. We didn't want to get stuck in the traffic jam entering Spore. Somehow, when we reached Woodlands, the traffic has started to built up. This is our first time driving into Spore.
At Woodlands, the waiting time is quite long. After that it get worst. For a first timer like us, we need to purchase Autopass card. Something like our TouchnGo card. Luckily the process is not too long. Yet we have to wait for empty bay to park the car for the Spore Immigration Dept to inspect the roadtax then issued us a slip to purchase the Autopass card.
Once we got the slip, i went to the counter to fill a form and purchase the card for SG10. There's SG4 value left in the card. We can topup later at any 7-11. It'll expire in 5 years time.
After that, the last checkpoint is where the Custom checked our car. At the exit, we saw a message flashed 'No firecrackers is allowed inclyding Pop Pop'. Hah, kat supermarket Mydin and Hero berlambak jual!
Thanks to our friend's GPS, we arrived safely at our hotel around 11am. It was a smooth journey from Woodlands to city centre. Still early, not many cars on the road yet.
Will update about our River Cruise trip in my next entry. Need to sleep after the loooongggg day today!!!

Cuti hujung tahun
Baru nak bercuti! Sejak sekolah tutup, we didn't have a chance to go anywhere. Almaklumlah orang minyak sangat sibuk dgn kerja.
Esok kami nak enter Kota Singa. Last year ke sana jugak on Christmas Day. Tahun ni, kami nak cuba drive enter Kota Singa. Takmo lagi turun naik bas style orang JB. Boleh jimat masa. Nak balik pun tak payah rushing. Siap pinjam Garmin member, hoping that we won't lost our way in Kota Singa.
Main place to visit is the Sands Sky Park. After watching Amazing Race where they had the final chapter in Singapore, i made it the first place to visit among the things to do this time in Spore. Hubby wants to see Jalan Ampas. Danial? Plan to bring him to Jurong birdpark- ada penguins!
Oh, just wasted RM33 on data package for roaming. Belum enter dah pi subscribe sapa suruh!! Lenkali pi baca kat website dulu...

Esok kami nak enter Kota Singa. Last year ke sana jugak on Christmas Day. Tahun ni, kami nak cuba drive enter Kota Singa. Takmo lagi turun naik bas style orang JB. Boleh jimat masa. Nak balik pun tak payah rushing. Siap pinjam Garmin member, hoping that we won't lost our way in Kota Singa.

Mata tak leh lelap
It's 1:42 am.
I am still looking at the PC. I can't sleep, yet.
I tried to change the layout, but i failed. Penat dah menggodek.
I might sleep now or i'll end up discovering things that i shouldn't know.
But somehow, i knew about it and THE TRUTH HURTS...yeah, it still does.
People say time will heal but i don't think so in my case.
Saya PENDENDAM orangnya, being an Aries most of the time i keep things to myself but once it's out i tend to be nasty and you will not like me after that.
Should i believe you after this? Hanya Allah yang tau perasaan saya sejak minggu lepas.
On a different note, i am enjoying my holidays. Si kecik dah merengek nak balik Melaka, rindukan adik-adik di sana. Yeah, i know how he feels. Here in KL, he's stuck with mama, babah and Ahcu. Sana ada atuk, tokma, adik hanum, adik zara, abang sebelah, Mak sebelah even CC can be his good friend too. LOL. Next weekend, i'll send him back to Melaka. Makan pun culas sejak di KL. Penat tanya nak makan apa tiap hari.
Bought a new book last week, 'How Starbucks Save My Life'. Almost done with that piece. Next, i have to unwrapped my Sophie Kinsella pulak. I have three and surely will choose Mini Shopholic to start off. Can't wait to read it!
While writing this entry, the songs from Big R Radio Network is my companion. I love to listen to the 90 hits channel, they played songs from the 90s which brought back old memories when i was studying in Australia in the 90s. Somehow, i missed my student life over there. It has been almost 10 years but the memories are still strong especially the good times i had with friends back in Wagga Wagga.

KLIMS 2010
Yeah, today we went to KLIMS at PWTC. Ramai gila orang. But one thing that i HATE the most are all these AMATUR photographers taking this shot and that shot. It's hard to look and admire the cars when the view is being blocked by all these people. Please laa, take one or two shots isn't enough? Somemore, i am with a boy that is very excited to look at all the fancy cars! Visitors like me would appreciate if you take your lenses somewhere else! Not forgetting the models with the cars. What with models wearing skimpy clothes standing besides the car? I admired the models from Proton. They looked smart in the attire compared to those that looked more like a slut than a model representing the brand. Can't they be fully dressed? Oh, the models from Toyota (i think!) looked so elegant in grey long dress. Siap ada violin performance lagi!!! One model was terkangkang posing on the Harley Davidson. I was wondering what is wrong posing properly on it? Do you really need to open wide your legs like that?!!!
My son admired the Bumblebee but was afraid to take photo with it. His excuse was in case the car became alive!!! I enjoyed looking at the new Vespa(s) by Naza. Quite affordable actually. There's this one model is only RM10k plus. Monthly if you took the 3 years loan will cost you RM200 for the monthly payment.
This is the Vespa that i loike so much!!!
I will give 3 out of 5 star for this exhibition. If not because of the photographers, i would enjoyed my trip a lot. Paying RM20 for an adult ticket is not worth it when the view is blocked by all these people. I saw an old man trying really hard to push his wife on a wheelchair. He finds it very hard to squeeze among the photographers taking shots at the Brabus section.

Holiday...yeay!
Yeay...second time menulis. ntah apa jadi pada entry yg terdahulu.
hilang. kaput. oh, i am writing this on our new desktop.
yeah, it's been ages since i wrote on a desktop from home.
hubby beli sebuah desktop supaya anaknya senang nak bermain/menggunakan komputer.
kan dah nak masuk Darjah Satu nanti?
shoots, time flies so fast. now he's going to Standard One dah.
and i am going to be one Kiasu Mom. Believe me.
I always complained about those mom at our school yg so kiasu.
now, i am beginning to act like one. Sheeesh...cakap tak serupa bikin.
tak kisah laa....as long as sekolah itu akan menjaga dia dengan baik dari pukul 8.00-3.40.
i am more than happy. i hope he'll loves his new school.
hope he'll meet nice and good teacher like Teacher Iffa yang dah jaga dia selama 2 tahun sampai dibulinya cikgu tuh bila takmo ngaji.
hope he'll find good friends like Iman, Zakuan, Aliff....
apa-apa pun, as long as dia nak ke sekolah baru, i'll be the happiest mom in 2011!!!

Happy Birthday Abah
Semalam, 25 Oktober merupakan hari lahir abah. I didn't get to wish him since he was busy the whole day. Knowing him too well, while he is working, he didn't like distractions. Oh, he's 61 this year and masih bekerja.
Abah, didn't get to say this often but i love you and thank you for taking care of Danial (and spoilt him loads!) for the last six wonderful years!!!
Semoga Allah panjangkan usia abah dan murahkan rezeki serta sihat selalu. Amin. Insya-Allah.
Abah and mama with cucu sulung lelaki yang dijaga sejak 6 tahun yang lalu!!!

Selamat Hari Raya
Been away for awhile. Busy at work with concert and stuffs around school. Didn't know what to write or shout or scream at since i tend to hurt others indirectly if i do so. Yeah, i used to be known as si mulut laser @ si emotional but my boss said i have grown up not to be too emo over the last few years.
Hey, you can forgive but you will not forget. I will always remember that particular day at work where i was humiliated in front of the core team. I will remember the exact words uttered, actions taken and who are my real friends. Aku tak mudah lupa begitu saja!
How was raya preparation? Mine? More for the young man. As a mom, he will always come first and also my other two sidekicks in Melaka. And for mom and dad too. Having a single income without any other extras is kinda hard to splurge this time around. Commitments are getting bigger and i hardly have any leftovers after petrol, toll, lunch money etc. That's the truth about expenses in the big city. Gaji besar pun tak pernah cukup kalau duduk kat KL ni.
Yet, i am blessed to be able to provide this and that this time around. Alhamdulillah. Walaupun tiada bonus dan bajet raya, masih mampu berdiri atas kaki sendiri membeli itu dan ini. Cuma sedikit terkilan. Emo lak tetiba...
Nak abiskan cuci baju raya sebelum hantar ke dobi untuk digosok. Maaf zahir dan batin yek...!
