Last Thursday was Danial's 4th bday. Sungguh cepat masa berlalu. Dah besar panjang pun anak bujang ku yang sorang ni. When i looked at my wrist watch at the exact time 4 years ago i delivered him, gue senyum sengsorang. Fuh, i was in pain for almost 24 hours. But, it was worth the experience. Mamat nih memang penakut, sebab tu lah kot dari kecik takmo kuar malam. Nak kuar pagi Sabtu 26 Jun 2004.
I didn't even wish him hepi bday. Mum told me not to. Kesian kat dia. At the end, tokma and atuk bawak dia makan Pizza Hut and bought for him two cars from Tesco (at first he wanted 2 trolleys full of cars!) When atuk said buy only one car, he replied,"Kalau beli satu je, baik tak payah pegi Tesco!"...huhuhuhu..anak ku sangat laser, just like me!
Yesterday, we went to Zara OU and bought him his baju raya. I love to spend during the sales especially now sebab you can get good bargains. Takde masa nak pi shopping masa bulan puasa. And the sales won't be good like now. And ZARA susah nak ada sales. So, at the end, we bought 2 pairs of pants, 2 shirts and tshirt plus one for adik Hanum. Amar was soooo afraid that we didn't buy for him sebab dia dah penat keluar masuk fitting room try baju.
Some will ask why did i buy ZARA clothes for my boy? Why not the normal brand for kids? The main reason is my anak ada perut buncit like the father(like father like son!). Susah nak beli good pants for him yang ada elastic waists and boleh adjust ikut kemampuan perut. Brand yang ada seluar macam ini Esprit, UCB, Pumpkin Patch. Since ZARA ada sales, kami pun rembat laa seluar yang bersesuaian dengan kehendak perut dia. Not that i go for brands ( i sometimes do!) but these brands never failed me when it comes to quality. Even seluar raya the same brand dari last year masih my boy boleh fit in. Mom was shocked when she heard the RM that i had spent for the clothings. Dad said, 'takpe...dari membazir beli yang bukan-bukan..."...so biased one....
Today Ahcu will come back from Sibu...yeaaa..geng gaduh Amar dah balik. Mom said she doesn't want to touch any sardines anymore for the next 2,3 months....dah jelak laa tuh.
Oh, next week we will celebrate Danial's bday di McD Centrepoint. First time celebrate di luar. Wonder if everyone will turn up?
