I'm blogging from Seri Pacific, KL at the moment. a.k.a Pan Pacific dulu-dulu. Hubby ada kerja and he got a free room. So, us anak-beranak berkampung laa di sini untuk semalam. Sapa tak nak duduk kan? Walaupun hotel nih sekangkang kera jer dari umah, zaman ekonomi meleset nih rezeki jangan ditolak.
Tadi, ada major leakage di bilik air. Dari ceiling toilet, air turun mencurah-curah macam air hujan. Saya yang sangat panik teruslah telefon room service. Sambil makan McD, gue dengan penuh sabar tunggu Maintenance people sampai. Lepas 10 minit, tak jenguk muka. Buat phone call lagik. Tak jugak muncul-muncul. Last-last, the third time, gue dengan suara yg sedikit tinggi 'mencuci' operator mereka. At last, segerombolan maintenance people tiba di bilik kami untuk meng'inspect' kejadian yang tak diingini tadi. Dah lah yang tinggal me and Danial jer. Encik suami sudah ke bangunan sebelah untuk kerjanya. At last, they solved the problem. The part that i don't really like and sangat menyakitkan mata ialah the way they left the condition of the toilet. Bahagian yang leaking tuh dibiarkan tak bertutup. Walaupun hanya ceiling, kasi tutup laa oi!
Then, while putting Danial to sleep (after numerous attempts forcing him to take his nap..he's too excited!), there was a doorbell. Oh, they have send a fruit basket. Compliments from the hotel. Oh, how sweet......really?....hmmm.....Gue tak puas hati, pi check lagik toilet. Kali ni ada titik-titik air menitis from the other part of the ceiling and it is so yellowish. Gue ingat air kencing and lantas terus menelefon maintenance again. The Indian man that oversee how his team cleaned up the mess tadi explained to me itu adalah bekas tinggalan air yang bertakung and it will dried up in an hour. I did ask didn't they normally put the guest in another room? He replied, " Oh, we're full house today. Normally, we will change the room for you,". Shortly after the conversation ended, another fruit of basket arrived. Now, me and hubby are so blessed with so many good fruits to gobble up for entire week. Hahahaha.....that's how i spent my Saturday this week.
p/s: Moral of the story, walaupun bilik ini free, we have to stand up for our right. Mesti buat bising, kalau tak nanti they will take it for granted.
